Woman Crush Wednesday | #WCW | DJ Shauntavia

 Um. So.

I probably have about the biggest crush on this girl ever. I was so taken back by her physical beauty when I first met her, but talking to her... I seriously thought "wow this girl can't be real". Getting to know her more I'm finding out she's nothing but REAL.

Shauntavia, host of 812 The Movement on The Edge Radio, is a complete package.

She's very intellectual. We had a full blown conversation on our heritage during our first meeting. She's funny and super down to earth. I absolutely adore how open she is to share her story with others. Shauntavia definitely has an inviting aura. Like I mentioned before, the girl is drop dead gorgeous.

Look at this face....

Here are some things I thought you might want to know about her too!

What do you love about being a DJ/ host and what do you think sets you apart from the rest?

"I love interviewing and gossiping. I love joking and being goofy when im delivering stupid news stories and celebrity gossip.

I think being a true hip hop head is what sets me apart. I LOVE HIP HOP and my show reflects."

Who is your favorite local musician/band?

"I don't really have a favorite local group. I respect the ones working hard and they all have some good stuff. However, my favorite local song right now is "like that" by Kurtise. The song has a nasty beat, great hook and the featuring on it sings better than Chris Brown."

Favorite locally owned spot?

"My favorite locally owned spot would have to be PG. Great food, great hours, amazing art and poetry and I can take my son there. He may love it more me."

You've been through a lot, what advice do you have for those that are going through hard times?

"I would tell anyone going through hard times to pray and remember that as long as there is breath in their lungs that they have chance. My inspirational words of wisdom are "Don't believe the hype, we were born royals"."

Who is one woman you look up to and why?

"My mother. She has defied all odds. She is a 22 yr survivor of HIV, has lived through COPD and Shingles. She has been clean from crack addiction for 8 yrs and now she cares for 4 adopted children, all under 9 yrs of age. She is the true definition of resilience and a reflection of God's divine grace.
